The FDA has recently noticed an up tick in hand sanitizers using false claims of “FDA-Approved” and hand sanitizers using Ethyl Alcohol with Methanol. Methanol, or wood alcohol, is a substance that can be toxic when absorbed through the skin or ingested and can be life-threatening when ingested.
